Paul Heaton turns 60 years old today and he's throwing a party in the UK and Ireland.
Heaton, who is best know as the voice behind The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, originally wanted to do a bicycle tour and perform at 60 pubs on his birthday, but wasn't able to make it happen. Instead, he's decided to buy drinks for fans (and regulars) at 60 pubs across the UK and Ireland. The drinks are on Heaton today, until the money at each pub runs out. The celebration serves as not only a birthday party for Heaton, but a thank you to fans for their support over the years.
