Ian Curtis, R.I.P.

The legendary Ian Curtis died on this day in 1980.

He left behind a catalog of beautiful, dark and haunting music that shaped the history of music and continues to span generations. Without Curtis and Joy Division, the world would be an empty and less meaningful place.

His influence remains undeniable; his light continues to shine through recordings of Joy Division's brilliant music and intense energetic live performances.

Ian will never, ever, be forgotten.

R.I.P.
