Miki Berenyi is releasing a memoir.
The beloved and brilliant Lush singer announced details behind her autobiography on social media yesterday. The 352 page hardcover book is titled Fingers Crossed: How Music Saved Me From Success.
Pete Selby of Nine Eight Books approached Berenyi two years ago and suggested she write a memoir. At the time she laughed it off, but eventually agreed and got to work. Berenyi said the preparation for writing the book was quite emotional - remembering her childhood and rifling through 30 years of photos, diaries, press clippings, and tour itineraries. But it all paid off - Fingers Crossed has been described as extraordinary, fearless, funny, beautiful, honest, and incredible.
