New Order issued a brand new single "Be A Rebel."
The delightful synth opus was originally planned to coincide with the band's highly anticipated fall tour with The Pet Shop Boys, but since the tour is on hold New Order decided the time was right to get their new song out there. According to New Order the song has a message to celebrate yourself and appreciate what you have, even in hard times:
"In tough times we wanted to reach out with a new song. We can’t play live for a while, but music is still something we can all share together.
We hope you enjoy it… until we meet again."

Today's announcement followed days of teasing graphics on social media and was well worth the wait. The track is a joyous slice of synth-pop greatness.
"Be A Rebel" will be issued physically as a limited edition single. The single has been pressed on dove grey vinyl with a blue metallic ink outer sleeve and full color inner sleeve. The four maxi-single (single + three additional mixes) is limited to 5000 copies worldwide and arrives on November 13th.
