Coldwaves festival goes virtual this weekend.
Chicago's annual dark electro/industrial festival is unable to proceed as planned due to the pandemic, so organizers have turned the three day celebration into a virtual party.
Coldwaves - Lost Weekend will be available as a free live stream September 18th through September 20th with many exciting events planned. Some of the festivities include live sets - including a live performance by Meat Beat Manifesto - previously recorded (recently recorded) performances, rare live performance videos, and classic industrial music videos featuring commentary from Martin Atkins, Paul Barker, Chris Connelly, Richard 23, Patrick Coclenys, and many more. Other events include an auction, screening documentary, and various DJ sets.
Coldwaves streams September 18 - 20 from 7pm - midnight CST (8pm - 1am ET) via Twitch. The streaming schedule will be available later this week. For now head over to the official Coldwaves website for more info.
