A previously unreleased recording of Chris Cornell covering "Patience" was released today.
Some years ago Cornell learned the song to help teach his daughter Toni to play it, and after hearing news of a Guns And Roses reunion in 2016 he decided to record it himself. The cover was never released, but today Cornell's wife Vicki decided to share it with the world in memory of what would have been Cornell's 56th birthday. Stream Cornell's haunting version below.
