Q magazine has folded. The legendary British magazine's final issue hits newsstands on July 28th.
The news was announced by Q's editor Ted Kessler, who shared the tragic news and posted a picture of the final issue. According to Kessler, the magazine had run a "lean" ship prior to the pandemic, however Covid19 financially wiped out Q for good.
View Kessler's post and scan of the farewell letter below.
Q was established in 1986 and had been publishing issues on a monthly basis.
R.I.P.
I have some bad news about @QMagazine. The issue that comes out on July 28 will be our last. The pandemic did for us and there was nothing more to it than that. I have attached our final cover and my editor’s letter for context.— Ted Kessler (@TedKessler1) July 20, 2020
