Michael Stipe has teamed up with Big Red Machine for a new song titled "No Time For Love Like Now."
According to R.E.M.'s official website, the collaboration with Aaron Dessner/Justin Vernon side project came about last year:
"The collaboration came about when Aaron Dessner of The National shared a folder of new Big Red Machine music with Michael last year. “No Time for Love Like Now” was written last fall but when the reality of the COVID pandemic and social distancing and self-isolation descended, the words felt like they were written about this time."
