Tim Burgess is continuing to hold Twitter listening parties to celebrate classic albums with fans around the globe.
Tonight the party continues with New Order's seminal album Power, Corruption & Lies. Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris will be tweeting along sharing commentary, insight, and memories about the album. Along with Gilbert and Morris, Kevin Cummins, the photographer behind many iconic pictures of Joy Division and New Order will be participating.
The New Order listening party starts at 5pm ET (10pm UK time).
If you haven't done this before, it's reallly easy to participate. Follow Tim Burgess, Gillian Gilbert, and Stephen Morris on Twitter. Then get your album ready (physical or digital/streaming service) and press play when it's time. Even if you don't have a Twitter account (and don't want to open one), you can still view the tweets - just link over to Burgess' twitter (he usually retweets many of the guest tweeters).
Head over to Twitter early because at 4pm ET (9pm UK time) there will be a listening party for Pulp's 1995 album Different Class.
If you can't make it, you can always go back and scroll through the tweets while listening to the record, however it's way more fun to do it together if possible.
