Paul Weller returns with a new solo album in June.
Weller's 15th studio album is titled On Sunset and includes songs he began working on a few months after the release of his last record, 2018's True Meanings. The new record is said to be less mellow/acoustic-based than True Meanings, though it does contain some strings and horns. Weller previously described the record to Uncut as "pretty soulful with some cosmic edges" and "a positive summery-sounding record."
So far Weller has not unleashed any new music from the record, but he has opened up pre-orders. On Sunset will be released June 12th and is available on black vinyl, peach-colored vinyl, standard CD, deluxe CD, and cassette. Head here to view all the pre-order options.
Along with the album announcement, Weller announced dates for a UK tour which takes place in October and November. No North American dates have been announced.
