David J has revealed details behind two special releases for Record Store Day.
The iconic bassist told fans via video that he's releasing a new full-band recording of "Thoughts And Prayers," the vitriolic song he wrote last year in response to the Parkland high school shootings. The single will be backed by a cover of Emily Jane White's "Hole In The Middle" and proceeds from the single will go to benefit the victims affected by the shootings.
The second RSD offering is a repress/reissue of "V For Vendetta," which was originally released on 12" in 1984.
Record Store Day takes place Saturday, April 13th. If you're interested in these (or any) Record Store Day releases, be sure to contact your favorite record store ahead of time to see if they'll be stocking the release. View the official Record Store Day website here.
