As previously reported Rain Phoenix is releasing a limited edition 10" single on February 14th. The a-side is a duet with Michael Stipe titled "Time Is The Killer," and the flip side features two previously unreleased songs River Phoenix wrote with his band Aleka's Attic in the 90s.
Today "Time Is The Killer" premiered and is a beautiful and powerful song. Stipe's voice pairs perfectly with Phoenix and it's a joy to hear Stipe back on a new recording. Watch the official video featuring Phoenix and Stipe below.
The physical 10" single for Time Gone was limited to 500 copies and is sold out. Digital copies are available to pre-order through iTunes and Amazon.
