Phillip Durr, guitarist for Big Chief has died. Big Chief's Facebook page announced the sudden tragic news and revealed Durr had been rushed to the hospital last weekend after suffering cardiac arrest and later died January 10th.
Durr was a phenomenal powerhouse guitarist. Besides being the driving force behind the legendary Detroit/Ann Arbor band, he also performed in Giant Brain, Five Horse Johnson, and Luder; he also guested on records for Walk On Water, Volebeats, Dennis Coffey, and many more.
