Morrissey has revealed the tracklisting for his new record California Son. The album was produced by Joe Chiccarelli and features 12 cover songs originally recorded by Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Dionne Warwick, Carly Simon, and more. The official release date has not yet been announced but is expected out in early 2019. View the tracklisting below via Morrissey Central.
Meanwhile Morrissey's deluxe edition of Low In High School will be released this Friday, December 7th. The expanded edition features several covers including the studio version "Back On The Chain Gang" (Pretenders) and live versions of "Rose Garden" (Lynn Anderson), "Judy Is A Punk" (Ramones) and more.
Though Morrissey was known to deliver an incredible version of Suede's classic "The Insatiable Ones" years ago unfortunately he hasn't announced any plans to cover the track. Missed opportunity indeed.
