The debut album from Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Scream, was released 40 years ago today. To mark the important milestone they'll release a special edition pressed on blue vinyl this Friday, November 16th. The reissue should be a sonic delight -- the record was remastered and cut at half speed from the original tapes at Abbey Road; Siouxsie Sioux and Steve Severin were both actively involved in the artwork restoration and audio remastering for the reissue.
