The Rock Hall is notorious for snubbing true classic alternative artists. Despite a few legendary bands managing to somehow get inducted into the institution, the Rock Hall and its various committees have overwhelmingly proven themselves to be incredibly lame and out of touch for years and years. Sure, it's great they've nominated (and even at times inducted) some deserving bands, but the Rock Hall is pretty much a cringeworthy joke at this point.
Below view the t-shirt Jeff Ament wore when Pearl Jam got inducted in 2017 as a nod to all the highly influential bands shunned and disregarded by the Rock Hall over the years. [note: Oasis' first LP was released in 1994 thus making them ineligible until 2019. The Cars went on to be inducted in 2018.]
