Chris Liebing announced the release of his new album Burn Slow. The German techno producer's "minimalist electronic epic" will be released on September 7th and includes guest appearances from Gary Numan and Cold Cave. Burn Slow is Liebing's first release on Mute, home to many of his favorite artists:
"Without realising, a lot of the music I was into came from just one label, Mute. I vividly remember dancing around at my neighbour’s house in the early ‘80s to songs by Depeche Mode and Yazoo. Banging my head in dark basements to the likes of DAF, Laibach and Nitzer Ebb to name but a few."
The first track from the record "Novembergrey" was issued back in April, and today saw the premiere of another track "Polished Chrome (The Friend Pt 1)" featuring spoken word vocals from synth legend Gary Numan. Stream both tracks below and find out more about the release here.
