Poptone, featuring Kevin Haskins and Daniel Ash (and named after the PiL song), wrapped up their West coast tour performing updated versions of classics from their old bands Tones On Tail and Love and Rockets. Today the band announced a new North American tour which includes a Detroit area date. Tickets for the June 22nd show at The Loving Touch in Ferndale go on sale this Friday, May 25th. Pre-sales begin Wednesday, May 23rd.
Poptone release a live album June 8th featuring 13 tracks captured live at a session in Los Angeles. The record will be available on CD, 2LP pressed on white vinyl, and digital album download. Pre-order here.
