Halifax power-pop kings Sloan return with a new studio album on April 6th. The record is the band's 12th studio album and it features 12 songs, so it should be no surprise that the album is simply titled 12. The album features all four original members Chris Murphy, Jay Ferguson, Andrew Scott, and Patrick Pentland. Each member has displayed tremendous songwriting talent on previous records and 12 will be no different: all four band members contributed three songs a piece which play to their individual strengths.

Sloan hit the road in support of 12 in North America this spring. The tour includes a stop at St. Andrew's Hall on June 20th. Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 9th.
