Jim Rodford, bass player for The Kinks, Argent, and The Zombies has died. Rodford's cousin and bandmate Rod Argent broke the news, confirming Rodford died suddenly on January 20th after falling down a flight of stairs. Rodford was 76 years old.
Rodford was a founding member of Argent and later joined The Kinks in 1978. He remained in The Kinks until they disbanded in the 90s, then played with The Zombies.
