Inkel co-founded the electo-industrial Vancouver band Left Spine Down in 2003. In 2005 he joined Front Line Assembly and co-wrote/produced several of their albums including Artificial Soldier, Improvised Electronic Device, and Echogenetic. He was also a member of Noise Unit.
