R.I.P. Jeremy Inkel of Front Line Assembly + Left Spine Down

Jeremy Inkel electronic guru who played in Left Spine Down, Front Line Assembly, and Noise Unit has died. According to his family Inkel died on January 13th of complications from asthma. He was 34 years old.

Inkel co-founded the electo-industrial Vancouver band Left Spine Down in 2003. In 2005 he joined Front Line Assembly and co-wrote/produced several of their albums including Artificial Soldier, Improvised Electronic Device, and Echogenetic. He was also a member of Noise Unit.

It is with a very heavy heart that we announce that Jeremy Inkel passed away on January 13, 2018. He was 34 years old. He died suddenly from complications due to his asthma. A private ceremony will be held in the coming days.a.

An open memorial event will be arranged at a later date. He leaves behind a mother, father, aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly. And Jeremy had many friends and colleagues that loved him.
