Jack White premiered new music from his third solo album a few days ago, and today he's announced official details for the album. Boarding House Reach includes 13 songs and is a sonic mix of rock 'n' roll, electro and hard funk, proto punk, hip hop, gospel blues, and country. The album, which arrives March 23rd, was recorded in Nashville at Third Man, as well as studios in New York and Los Angeles.
The cover art for the standard version of the record is posted above; a limited edition version with different (and almost Daft Punkish) cover art (posted below) will be released exclusively as part of the new Vault Package (Package #35) and is available to pre-order through January 31st. Read more about Vault Package #35 here.
As previously reported the limited edition tri-colored 7" for "Connected By Love" b/w "Respect Commander" will be available tomorrow at the Third Man Record Cass Corridor storefront and the TMR Nashville storefront starting at 10am. Be sure to get there early - Third Man will continue to sell copies as long as there is "a line" (at least a 3 person queue). Once the "line" is serviced they will stop selling copies. Read more about that here.
