Billy Corgan photographed in studio with original Smashing Pumpkins members

Earlier this month William Patrick Corgan/Billy Corgan urged fans on social media to follow him on Instagram. He has now delivered the ultimate present to old school fans - Corgan posted a picture of himself in the studio alongside original Pumpkins members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin.

In March 2016 Corgan and Iha performed a few songs together at Smashing Pumpkins shows in Chicago and Los Angeles. Later that year Corgan hinted at a 2017 Smashing Pumpkins reunion/tour which never materialized, however perhaps 2018 will be a different story.
