Inspiral Carpets drummer Craig Gill died one year ago today. Gill took his own life after suffering from anxiety and stress secondary to tinnitus. Ex-bandmate Stephen Holt released a song with his side-project The Rainkings last month in memory of Gill and donated proceeds from the single to the British Tinnitus Association.

Stephen Holt was recently made an ambassador of the BTA's Plug'em campaign which seeks to spread the word about tinnitus and encourage music fans and concert attendees to use earplugs to help prevent tinnitus. Find out more about the campaign here.
