Ride premiered a brand new song today titled "Pulsar." The track was recorded with producer Erol Alkan, who produced Ride's comeback album Weather Diaries (though "Pulsar" was not recorded during the sessions for Weather Diaries - it was recorded after the release of the acclaimed album).
According to Ride "Pulsar" was influenced by space:
"Pulsar re-imagines old organ samples, transmissions from space, effects, heavy beats and pulsing chords. The song title tips its head to the 60’s instrumental ’Telstar’ in name and theme; and the idea was to come up with some kind of ‘space anthem’ about light, existence, travel and return."
