Felt announce long awaited reissues: 'A Decade In Music'
Exciting news for fans of the influential UK band Felt: Cherry Red Records has finally announced the release of A Decade In Music - a series of long awaited Felt reissues.
Felt's vinyl catalog, largely out of print for years, commands BIG bucks on the resale market (even CD copies can be a pretty major financial outlay). But Cherry Red has come to the rescue and next year Felt's first five albums will be reissued on vinyl and as CD boxsets. All five definitive editions have been remastered by Lawrence and will be released February 23rd. The albums are:
Crumbling The Antiseptic Beauty
The Splendour Of Fear
The Strange Idols Pattern And Other Short Stories
Ignite The Seven Cannons
The Seventeenth Century
All five albums will be reissued individually on limited edition vinyl and as CD boxsets. The vinyl editions feature deluxe gatefold sleeve; the CD boxsets for each reissue are packaged in a 7" box with the original album in special gatefold sleeve, 7" vinyl singles, reproduction gig flyers, posters, and buttons, plus the initial run of the boxsets are stickered and hand-signed by Lawrence. All are available to pre-order now through Cherry Red.
Meanwhile Lawrence announced a brand new Go-Kart Mozart album titled Mozart's Mini-Mart, a 17 track record which also arrives on February 23rd. Lawrence debuted the first track "When You're Depressed" which is available to stream below. Pre-order now from Cherry Red.
