cEvin Key unearthed rare footage of Skinny Puppy in the studio creating the final mix of "Hexonxonx" at Vancouver Studios. The amazing 1989 video is a rare glimpse into the production wizardry of Key, Dave Rave Ogilvie, and Alien Jourgensen; Jello Biafra, who named the track and assistant Marc Ramaer can also be seen in the video. "Hexonxonx" was released on Skinny Puppy's 1989 album Rabies. Besides helping out with production, Jourgensen is featured on the album (guitar and vocals).
Meanwhile, Key's project The Tear Garden which also features Edward Ka-Spel of Legendary Pink Dots released a trippy brand new album titled The Brown Acid Caveat plus a new career-spanning compilation Eye Spy Vol. 2, which collects unreleased tracks, demos, rewritten and original material. Both releases are available from Metropolis Records.
