Swervedriver announced an exciting North American tour -- the brilliant and seminal band will be performing TWO of their albums in full this September. Adam Franklin, Jimmy Hartridge, Mikey Jones and Mick Quinn will play their first two albums -- 1991's Raise and 1993's Mezcal Head -- in full, front to back (two sets) each night of the tour. Swervedriver have previously played Raise in full, but never before have they performed both albums on tour back to back, so this is a thrilling tour indeed. Now for the bad news...
Unfortunately there is no Detroit date, but if any tour called for a roadtrip, this is it. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, June 9th at 10am ET. View the itinerary below and head over to Swervedriver's website for ticket links to all the shows.
Swervedriver also announced they hope to have their sixth studio album out in 2018 and will be providing more details on that shortly. Their last album I Wasn't Born To Lose You was released in 2015 and one of the best recordings of the year.
