As reported yesterday, Liam Gallagher set an October 6th release date for his debut solo album As You Were and opened up pre-orders today. The album contains 12 tracks including the current single "Wall Of Glass," and another highly anticipated song titled "For What It's Worth" which Gallagher describes as "Oasis-y" with a "Don't Look Back In Anger" vibe. Another song from the record "China Town" will be released next Friday, June 30th.
As You Were will be available on LP (standard black and limited edition white), CD, and digital download; a deluxe edition on CD & digital download adds three extra songs (15 total). A limited edition box set with 12" vinyl, CD, bonus etched 7", art print, hardcover book, and more is also available. Check out all the options here.
Liam Gallagher also announced details for a short North American tour (he's recently said of touring "I just want to get out of the house to be completely honest"). The tour bypasses Detroit, however if you're up for a road trip check out the itinerary below. The general onsale for all shows is June 29th at 10am local time and pre-sales for all of the shows are going on now through June 28th.
