Eddie Vedder kicked off a string of solo shows in Amsterdam over the weekend. According to fan reports, Vedder was grieving Chris Cornell's death and the entire show was an emotional tribute to Cornell. Though he never specifically mentioned Cornell by name, he made many references to death, loss, grieving, and healing and it was clear to concertgoers exactly what Vedder was trying to convey.
