Melvins announce new LP + mega North American tour
Melvins announced details for a new release, which is their first ever double album. A Walk With Love and Death features two different musical vibes -- the first album Death, will be sonically similar to the band's previous releases, and the second part, Love, serves as the score to the Jesse Nieminen directed short film A Walk With Love and Death.
The double album includes guests musicians Joey Santiago (Pixies), Teri Gender Bender (Le Butcherettes), and Anna Waronker (That Dog) and has been described by drummer Dale Crover as "one giant, dark, moody, psychotic head trip." The album will be released July 7th on double CD, vinyl (Death on opaque pink vinyl, Love on opaque violet), and as a digital album download.
Melvins also announced details for a massive 61 date North American tour. The tour kicks off in early July and stops by El Club in Detroit on July 27th. Grab tickets here.
