1. The Charlatans are debuting their new single "Plastic Machinery" featuring Johnny Marr tomorrow. [Update: here it is].
2. Modern English were scheduled to play April 7th at the Loving Touch, however guitarist Gary McDowell recently needed to undergo emergency surgery and the remainder of the tour has been canceled. Refunds are available at point of purchase. Modern English have confirmed McDowell will be back and raring to go for the Retro Futura tour, which comes through town August 4th at Meadow Brook. 3. Don't forget about the upcoming Psychedelic Furs/Robyn Hitchcock show at the Majestic on April 11th. These legendary acts don't get to Detroit that often, so be sure to take advantage. Link to tickets is here.
