Echo & The Bunnymen & Violent Femmes North American tour
Echo & The Bunnymen and Violent Femmes are heading out this summer in North America for a co-headline tour! The tour will be coming through the Detroit area July 18th at Meadow Brook Amphitheater. Pre-sales kick off this Thursday, April 6th at 10am and the general onsale is this Friday, April 7th. Grab tickets and details here.
Violent Femmes are touring in support of their latest album We Can Do Anything and will be recording a brand new album for release later this year.
Echo & The Bunnymen's last studio album Meteorites came out in 2014. According to Will Sergeant, the band is "on the verge" of signing a new record deal which, if finalized, would likely see the release of a new album as well as an "orchestrated album."
Meanwhile, a live Echo compilation titled It's All Live Now, featuring several live covers was released digitally last month. The material was originally issued on the boxset Crystal Days in 2001, but is available separately for the first time.
