Slowdive announced details for their first new studio album in 22 years. The self-titled record (a nod to their self-titled debut EP from 1990) arrives May 5th and features eight tracks including "Star Roving," the song they released earlier this year. According to Slowdive, the new album is fun, vibrant, and relevant. Frontman Neil Halstead on the new album:
"We were always ambitious. Not in terms of trying to sell records, but in terms of making interesting records. Maybe, if you try and make interesting records, they're still interesting in a few years' time."
