A deluxe edition of The Damned's seminal debut album Damned Damned Damned will be reissued on February 17th in celebration of its 40th anniversary. Originally released by Stiff Records February 18th, 1977, the album is widely considered to be the first British punk album. The anniversary edition contains fully remastered audio and new sleevenotes that highlight the album's impact and legacy. View the tracklisting below.
Damned Damned Damned is being released as part of the new album series Art of the Album -- in the age of downloading, streaming and singles, the Art of the Album series examines and celebrates seminal albums, with the hopes of rekindling interest in the album as a format.

Meanwhile the Damned -- Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Monty Oxymoron, Pinch, and Stu West -- are in the studio working on their first set of new songs since 2008. The album So, Who's Paranoid? will be released later this year and is available to pre-order on CD & colored vinyl here.
