Temple of the Dog kicked off their first ever tour last night in Philadelphia. As Chris Cornell explained previously, Temple of the Dog reunited to do the one thing they never got to do -- "play shows and see what it feels like to be the band that we walked away from 25 years ago." Fans enjoyed the ultimate musical gift last night as Cornell, Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron triumphantly ripped through a 23 song set filled with their classic songs, plus covers from Mother Love Bone, the Cure, David Bowie, and more.
