Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds return with the highly anticipated new album Skeleton Tree on September 9th. This week Cave debuted the official video for the album's first single "Jesus Alone." Stream the video below:
As previously reported a companion film, One More Time With Feeling, screens globally the night before the album's release. According to Cave's website, the film is a performance/documentary hybrid film and includes material from Skeleton Tree:
"Originally a performance based concept, One More Time With Feeling evolved into something much more significant as Dominik delved into the tragic backdrop of the writing and recording of the album. Interwoven throughout the Bad Seeds’ filmed performance of the new album are interviews and footage shot by Dominik, accompanied by Cave’s intermittent narration and improvised rumination. Filmed in black-and-white and colour, in both 3D and 2D."
One More Time With Feeling premieres at participating theaters worldwide on September 8th. Detroit area screenings include Cinema Detroit in Detroit and Main Art Theater in Royal Oak. View the full list of participating theaters here.
