Goth/post-punk from Detroit: Ritual Howls

Detroit goth/post-punk band Ritual Howls return with their third full length album Into The Water. The highly anticipated album was recorded at Hamtramck Sound Studios and released earlier this month via by noted post-punk label Felte (also home to Toronto's Odonis Odonis). The ominous and stunning cover art envelops a truly magnificent record -- the nine track album is a dark, unsettling and brutal journey into a gothic abyss. One listen and you'll understand why Ritual Howls has a substantial fanbase worldwide -- their music is tormenting, yet incredibly addictive. This is highly recommended listening for fans of the dark -- especially Bauhaus, Sisters Of Mercy/The Mission, etc.
