If you were around in the 90s you're most likely familiar with the 90's band Mono -- the band's ethereal and Bond-esque song "Life In Mono," which was featured on the Great Expectations soundtrack was a mammoth alterna-hit. Mono's silky-toned vocalist Siobhan De Mare eventually moved to work on other projects, notably Violet Indiana which also featured legendary Cocteau Twins' guitarist Robin Guthrie.
Fast forward to 2016 and De Mare has an entirely new project -- she's teamed up with Gary Bruce for a bewitching new band titled Swoone. The duo just signed to Saint Marie Records and they've debuted their first song titled "This Bullet Never Kills." Fans of Mono and enchanting dream pop need to delve in below.
Swoone recently wrapped up recording a full album, and release details should be announced soon. In the meantime, catch up with the band on Facebook and read more about Swoone here.
