On June 2nd, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie fell off stage (reportedly 7 feet) while performing at a festival in Switzerland. Gillespie was rushed to the hospital leaving fans in shock and in fear of the worst. After a long week of no info or updates, today Primal Scream posted some news about Gillespie. According to the band, Gillespie is on the mend, however he'll require at least eight weeks to recuperate, thus Primal Scream's live dates through the end of July have been canceled. While today's announcement is bad news for fans with tickets to the canceled shows, overall it's a massive relief to hear that Gillespie is on the mend. Primal Scream is expected to return to the road in August.
