Stipe's performance was a warm up for two Bowie tribute concerts happening in New York this week -- Thursday, March 31st at Carnegie Hall and Friday, April 1st at Radio City Music Hall. Friday's tribute streams live courtesy of Skype and is expected to include performances from Stipe, J Mascis, Perry Farrell, Pixies, Debbie Harry, and more (lineup for the show is subject to change).
