New Order: Music Complete release events
New Order is gearing up for the release of its 10th studio album Music Complete and has announced a couple of promo events:
In conjunction with Germany's annual electronic music conference Reeperbahn Festival, Electronic Beats will be staging a special live streaming event with New Order on September 25th. The event includes a full stream of Music Complete, followed by an interview session with New Order. After the Q & A session, drummer Stephen Morris will be among a handful of DJs firing up the wheels of steel to spin some groov-a-licious tracks. According to Electronic Beats, the entire event -- including Morris' DJ set -- will stream worldwide beginning at 7pm CET (1pm ET). Details for accessing the stream will be posted soon. Fans interested in posing a question to New Order can submit questions now on social media (Twitter/Facebook) using #AskNewOrder.
Meanwhile on October 9th New Order will be playing a live session at the legendary Maida Vale studios in London for BBC Music 6. The interview and live performance will be available to stream live on BBC Music 6, and the archive will be available to stream on demand for a limited time after the session airs. More details on the session will be available closer to the event, so check back soon for details/linkage.
