The Noise Figures is a fuzzy guitar and drum project hailing from Athens, Greece. The duo went about recording its new album Aphelion in the most retro way possible -- the album was recorded over five days using a reel-to-reel machine, vintage instruments, and employing Pythagorean tuning (centuries-old technique). The result is a splendid fuzz/garagey-rock album chock full of awesomeness. Aphelion will be released September 28th and is available to pre-order now (on red vinyl!) through Inner Ear Records and Bandcamp.
