Fans of R.E.M.'s IRS days have another stellar release to look forward to before year's end. Today R.E.M. announced the release of a boxed 7 inch vinyl singles set titled 7in-83-88. The set includes 11 singles, and each 7 inch in the set comes with replicated original picture sleeve art and labels. 7in-83-88 will be released December 9th and is available to pre-order now through Amazon. As previously reported, R.E.M. is releasing a 6 DVD set titled REMTV on November 24th which is available to pre-order here. The documentary portion of the collection is scheduled to air on VH1 Classic and Palladia November 22nd. The band is also planning on screening the documentary in select cities at the end of November, though cities/dates have not yet been announced.
