The Cure cover the Beatles for tribute LP

The Cure premiered their cover version of the Beatles' classic "Hello Goodbye" today. The track, which features Paul McCartney's son James on keyboards, is available now as a digital single, and will be included on the forthcoming Paul McCartney tribute The Art of McCartney. The double album also includes Perry Farrell covering "Got To Get You Into My Life," Chrissie Hynde's version of "Let It Be" and more. The limited edition vinyl version of the set includes Robert Smith's take on "C Moon," and Ian McCulloch's recording of "For No One."

The Art of McCartney will be released November 18th and is available to pre-order through iTunes and Amazon. Amazon is also offering a deluxe 2CD/1DVD set. Other options, including the limited edition vinyl set (with bonus material from Robert Smith and Ian McCulloch), are available to pre-order here.
