Echo & the Bunnymen preview LP 'Meteorites'; debut music video
Echo & the Bunnymen return with their highly anticipated 12th studio album Meteorites on June 3rd. Ian McCulloch calls the new album "untouchable, celestial, beautiful, and real," and says it'll rank alongside the band's A-list albums Crocodiles and Ocean Rain. He's also said that Meteorites revives the band's passion for Velvet Underground, who have been their biggest musical influence.
Three full songs from Meteorites premiered over the past few weeks--the first single "Lovers On The Run," and album tracks "Holy Moses," and "Market Town" are all streaming in full--and now a preview of all 10 album tracks is available to stream along with the official music video for "Lovers On The Run," which premiered yesterday over at NME.
Stream the album preview, music video, and available album tracks below, and pre-order Meteorites from iTunes, Amazon, and Pledge Music (Pledge Music is offering a deluxe edition which comes with a bonus 'making of the album' DVD).
Don't miss Echo & the Bunnymen on tour in North America this summer. Tickets for all the shows, including the August 11th stop at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit, are on sale now.
