The The is reissuing its classic 1983 album Soul Mining as a deluxe edition boxset on June 30th in celebration of the album's 30th anniversary (close enough, it was originally released in October, 1983). The vinyl only boxset features the remastered original material as well as an extra 12" gatefold vinyl of alternate versions and remixes. The boxset comes with news poster with extensive notes about the album written by Matt Johnson, a master tape circular card insert, and a digital download code.
