Wattie Buchan of legendary punk band
The Exploited suffered a heart attack on stage at a gig in Portugal on February 13th.
According to reports, Buchan dropped to the floor, remained unconscious, and was rushed to the hospital where he is currently undergoing treatment. The Exploited posted a message on Facebook thanking fans for their support. The band has canceled all tour dates through May.
The Exploited had recently signed a recording contract with
Nuclear Blast and were planning to release a brand new record before the end of 2014. Three of their previous albums --
Beat The Bastards,
Fuck The System, and
The Massacre --
will be reissued as expanded sets on March 14th.
