Swervedriver fans attending the shows will definitely want to stop by the merch booth to pick up the first Swervedriver release in 15 years. A vinyl pressing of "Deep Wound" (with backing vocals from Ride's Mark Gardener) on red and yellow vinyl will be available in limited quantities at each show. The limited edition pressing went on sale through Tym Records a few weeks ago and sold out in less than 24 hours, so be sure to grab a copy if you find one at the gigs. Swervedriver also was interviewed by Australia's Sunday Morning Herald and discussed their affinity for Australia, the "ridiculous" shoegaze term, and leader Adam Franklin also discussed the band's history:
"Our music was always about a sort of wanderlust for the USA; it's about driving across the desert, which, of course, we'd never done. We first got into car imagery driving around Oxfordshire and down to London listening to tapes with the windows open; it was the Oxford version of the US road trip."
